How it Started

It all started with me building my first computer in 2021. Growing up, I always wanted a fast powerful PC to play all my games on. I cycled through a lot of laptops when I was younger. I remember owning these laptops as a irresponsible kid and having all these viruses on it and then next thing I know it would not work anymore. I remember one of my laptops had this malware that held my personal files hostage unless I paid to get it back. What a traumatic experience. I’ve had my fair share of owning computers and being glued to the screen for hours playing games and learning new software. You could say I am very knowledgeable about computer systems at this point. Prior to building my first computer, I did extensive research on building my dream PC that could last me 10+ years. After saving up money and drafting out hardware I was planning to get, I ordered everything I needed and it was time to build it. Initially, like everyone else, I thought it would be challenging. However, thanks to my preparation and my expertise in computer hardware from being around computers all my life, everything went well despite taking me all day to put it all together.

As of writing this, it has been 4+ years of owning the same PC I built, and when I mean it has 0 issues, it has absolutely 0 issues. No signs of slowing down, never had to replace any hardware. This was the best investment of my life.

There Are Always Better Things

What I learned in this game of life is that here are always better situations you can put yourself into. It’s all about doing the proper research to get you to those positions.

Same applies for computer systems. I use to own this prebuilt gaming computer that I begged my mom to get when I was in high school. When it came in, I thought it was the best day of life. It ran well for the first few years I had it but then it gradually slowed down and it would lag a lot. That’s when I realized these prebuilt computers were not worth it. I learned that prebuilt companies cheap out on their hardware so that they can maximize on their profits. The hardware they use are unbranded and it surprised me that they even cheap out on their hard drives. One day, my computer started freezing and when I restarted it, I got hit with a blue screen saying it can not start or boot anymore. That was boiling point for me. That was when I said, ‘Okay, that’s it, I’m building my own computer next’.

Moral of the story is…. Get yourself something that will last awhile. Do your research and try to get the best out of what you’re getting.

  • Of course, even better. However, even if you have all the parts, we still have to go through our due diligence to see if the components you got are all compatible with each other and make sure it meets your expectations. Assembly times vary from a couple days to a week.

  • No worries at all. If you are new, we welcome you to this new world. Get in contact with us through our form and we can get you sorted. We can educate you on how to pick the right parts for your needs and the assembly process. We make it easy for you to get what you want even if you don’t know much of this space.

  • Unfortunately, we are not at that scale to be building computers and having a stock for open availability, but that’s where we want to be at. We want to be at that level so you can pick your systems right away easily without any hassle. Stay tuned.
